Kanab

Our balloon crew packed up for an unforgettable adventure to Kanab, Utah, where the desert beauty met a true winter wonderland. We stayed in covered pioneer wagons, bundled up against the freezing snow, and gathered around firepits that made the cold nights feel cozy, memorable, and full of laughs.

The trip was all about the balloon festival, but it became so much more than that. Between the colorful balloons, the snowy scenery, the old-west wagon experience, and the time spent together as a crew, it was the kind of adventure we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Unfortunately, the balloons never got to take flight because the winds had other plans. Even though they stayed grounded, the festival still gave everyone a beautiful show with the torchlight parade, glowing against the cold Utah night and turning the windy weekend into something pretty special.

There were plenty of laughs off the balloon field too, especially when Scott made himself a new four-legged cat friend after sharing a few hotdogs. Somewhere between the snow, the wagons, the firepits, the festival stories, and the crew’s inside jokes, the word “sediment” was born — and like all great trip legends, it probably makes the most sense to the people who were there.
